Any Questions?......

We Have The Answer To Regularly Asked Stuff

Can I Use You To Move Telephone Wiring And Sockets.

Yes. as long as the wiring and sockets are within the boundary of your property, we are good to go.

If the fault  or work required is in the "Network" - outside your home - maybe overhead on a telephone pole or underground then the company you pay line rental to has to fix it, free of charge in most cases.

My Provider Says The Fault Is Internal. Is This Correct?

When you have a line fault, this causes slow broadband, noisy telephone calls, no dial tone and other frustrating problems.

Your provider should test the line. The test sends signals from your local telephone exchange to try and determine the distance from the exchange to the fault and what type of fault it is.

The test can on occasion cause the line fault to briefly repair itself. This sends a false reading to the provider who will tell you either no fault found or it's internal.

If this happens, don't book a visit with their engineer, they can charge up to £180 even if they don't find a fault.

Call us now. We will carry out a home visit and diagnose the problem accurately for less than half price.

If the fault is in the network, you can claim back our fees from your provider.

How Much Will You Charge Us?

A good question. I want to offer a great service at a great price. I can only give you a ball park figure.

Over the last 24 months I have charged an average of £68 per residential customer.

There is no call out fee or VAT. When I visit your home or office I'll assess and discuss the work required with you.

I will give you an exact price. Your free to accept or reject the price with no further obligation.

Are You Qualified?

Yes. Both by experience and BT training. My interest in telecoms started when I was 14 years old. At 15 I'd built my own automatic telephone exchange in the garden shed, much to the despair of my long suffering parents.

I have worked for Plessey, Ericssons and eventually BT and Openreach. I left Openreach, of my own accord, in 2008 to pursue my own business to provide quality engineering without the sales and call centre experience.

All in all 43 years, and I still love it!

What If Things Go Wrong?

I only use top quality equipment and cable. Cheap isn't always best. All the material I use meet or exceed BT specification.

If any of my work fails within two years I guarantee to fix/replace it free of charge. That's a promise.

The only time I may have to charge is if the fault is caused by accident or vandalism.

Are You The Cheapest Engineer?

No. Quality work has a price attached to it. You may find the electrician or aerial fitter offers "telephone sockets" for a few pounds less.

I'm a telecom engineer, I specialize day in and day out on this type of work. That's why you can be totally confident using my service.
